Key to this success is our Outsourcing Transition Management program which is designed to smoothly transfer the services and people from the client to the Atos Origin organization. The process is divided into two activities – Transfer and Transformation:
- Transfer - The management of the transfer and integration of people, assets, contracts and services into Atos Origin while implementing new business controls. We ensure that arrangements (e.g. governance, demand & supply management, invoicing and payment mechanisms, etc.) are in place to work seamlessly with the client and that all employees have reporting lines into Atos Origin and understand the effect of the outsourcing contract, both professionally and personally.
- Transformation - The management of all discrete projects necessary to move the client’s services from the Present Mode of Operation (PMO) to the agreed Future Mode of Operation (FMO) in order to deliver the business objectives of the contract to both the client business and Atos Origin.
Good communication is a critical element in any change effort and therefore plays a vital role in the way Atos Origin organizes the outsourcing transition. Disseminating information and obtaining and addressing feedback are integral to helping people to commit and adapt to change. After transfer to Atos Origin, meetings between the new employees and their managers provide a forum to develop an individual development plan and set objectives for the coming period.
