Can you create a team of 4,000 highly trained professionals out of ever changing partners to run your mission critical projects?
Today, you are often confronted with the need to move toward a more global business environment comprised of networks of interconnected business partners and service providers.
To survive and grow, you will need to collaborate with the personnel of other external enterprises in order to receive high value and quality products and services which will enable you to create a competitive advantage and, at the same time, enjoy greater business agility.
All this requires excellent human resource management skills to ensure that collaboration between people, both within an organization and those belonging to suppliers and partners. And it must happen in a way that ensures that the organizations themselves collaborate and operate towards a common goal in the most effective way.
Creating a Cohesive Team
For each Olympic Games, Atos Origin creates a cohesive IT team that works together for 16 days and then dissolves. It trains and manages about 4,000 IT professionals, to work efficiently and effectively in a high intensity operation, making this a unique project. The lessons learned in effective “people” processes are invaluable to any intensive IT project. We are capable of driving such a large project without contractual relationship with the other technology partners.
