As Worldwide Information Technology (IT) Partner for the Olympic Games, Atos Origin integrates, manages and secures the vast IT system that relays results, events and athlete information to spectators and media around the world.

The contract with the International Olympic Committee is the world's largest IT-related sports contract covering the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, Torino in 2006, Beijing in 2008, Vancouver in 2010, London in 2012, Sochi in 2014 and the 2016 Olympic Games.

In May 2009 Atos Origin has extended its contract with the IOC to serve as the IT systems integrator for the Games for an additional four-year period, until 2016. After Vancouver in 2010 and London in 2012, Atos Origin will provide IT systems for the Sochi Olympic Winter Games in 2014 in Russia and the Olympic Games in 2016, the host country of which will be announced on 2 October 2009.
